Introduction
Tecnia Journal of Management Studies is a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal published by the Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies since April 2006. The journal adopts a broad view of the management discipline and encourages the publication research output under several formats such as
Research Papers/Articles:
Research papers/articles published in TJMS are expected to have significant contribution to the body of knowledge in management or allied disciplines. The research papers could be theoretical or empirical. The journal is open to publish papers/articles with qualitative or quantitative approach. The recommended length of the article is up to 3,000 words. TJMS provides a platform to the Academicians, Research Scholars, Corporate Executives and Management Students to sharpen their knowledge in their respective areas of specialization in Management Studies. Through peer-review process, the professional development of scholars, practitioners, and doctoral students are enhanced.
Viewpoints:
Perspectives articles present a synthesis of the knowledge in a specific sub-field of management offering valuable lessons to management practitioners and policy makers. The Perspective article need not necessarily be backed by original field research.
Book review:
TJMS vitalizes the publication of review of newly released titles in management and allied subjects. Book reviews are a good publication option for early career researchers as it allows the researcher to stay abreast of new literature in the field, while at the same time, adding to his/her publication list.
Management Cases:
TJMS encourages authors to publish genuine managerial decision contexts in the form of instructional cases for the benefit of the academia. The decision context could be centered around an organization or an individual. The case should present plentiful data to ease a rich analysis of the situation. TJMS publishes cases related to the various managerial sub-disciplines such as Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Operations Research, business strategy, Entrepreneurship, Analytics etc. Each case should presents an in-depth analysis of the situation. The author must obtain written permission from the organization involved in the case to be eligible for publication of the case.
Colloquium:
Colloquium presents an intense debate among various participants on a contemporary management issue where each of the stakeholders presents their view on the issue.The Colloquium is expected to educate the audience of the journal on the various aspects of issue. The Colloquium engages the academia, practitioners, policy makers and civil society to elicit their viewpoint about a certain issue
TJMS publishes papers that :

- Enhance the teaching of management, especially through the use of experiential pedagogies.
